Lately, I've been hearing lots of Z.Z. Topp coming from his room, so I felt it was a good title.
Yes, friends and neighbors: behold, my seventh grader. This year, The Rock Star is doing his best to have good mornings. Not arguing about what to wear, working on his homework. So far, so good. It's been about 12 or 13 years since I had a seventh grader in the house. And I get to go through it one last time in 8 years. All the more reason I married a younger man....to keep me sane and take over when the mind goes.
Seriously, doesn't he look handsome?

He is very handsome, and he looks so grown up. Where did the time go?
K.
Yes indeed. Very handsome. He'll be having a string of girlfriends this school year.
Yes your son is very handsome. Maybe he is growing up a bit.
Seriously, he does!
He is NOT going to be impressed with the gushing of his mother's friends...but he's VERY handsome (and looking grown-up). Hope the good start continues.
You've got a good lookin' boy there!
I'm looking forward to school starting here. I've got a 11th, 10th and 2nd grader this year. What a difference between the high schoolers and grade schooler!
He's very cute. But if you don't mind I'm not showing his picture to my 7th grade daughter....
Lol.
